Although the windows and doors are screened so as to keep flies out and keep you safe from mosquitoes, wandering geckos may appear during cooler months. They like to show off their abilities at eating mosquitoes and flies.
There's also other animals in the area such as "Midnight" the property cat who likes to drink from the fish pools. She resides in the school bus when her owner is absent. Neighbors have friendly dogs and feral cats are common in the hood.
